Few things are more satisfying for kids than growing something of their own, and when the 'somethings' are crystals, the experience is a scientific lesson that they'll never forget!

Awestruck children will be able to witness the growth of jewel-tone crystals of citrine yellow, emerald-colored green and aquamarine-colored blue. Kids will also perform three crystal experiments, and learn about crystalline habitats and crystal structures.

The kit includes:

• 3 bags crystal-growing chemicals (one for each crystal color)
• a bag of granite base stones
• 2 lollypop sticks
• a magnifying glass
• a measuring cup
• a crystal-growing blister tray
• a pair of goggles
• instructions

In a few weeks, young geologists will have an assortment of glittering beauties to display.
